James Henry Grimm III, 82, of Washington, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2024, in his home. He was born February 11, 1942, in Washington, a son of the late James Grimm Jr. and Anna Mary Hartzell. Mr. Grimm was a Washington High School graduate. He worked for Millcraft Industries, until became a partner at Future – All in Carnegie. Mr. Grimm was a member of First Christian Church. He was also a member of the Golden Pheasant Club, Indian Springs Rod and Gun Club, NRA, American Legion Post #175 and the Masonic Lodge. He loved hunting and fishing and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Above all, he loved gathering with friends and family and his dog, Pickles. On September 24, 1966, he married Shirley Grace Grimm, who survives. Also surviving are a son James H. (Nicole) Grimm IV; a daughter, Tammi (Bryan) Scott; two sisters, Becky King and Debbie Stevens; his grandchildren, Robert Byrd, Ryan Byrd, Logan Grimm, Syerra Grimm and Samantha (Josh) Wise; and his great-grandchildren, Lennyx White and Owen Wise. Deceased, in addition to his parents, is a brother, Larry Grimm. The family would like to thank hospice and Samantha Wise and Devin Shiel for caring for Him during his illness.
