James C. Coyle

James C. Coyle, 76, of Washington, died Thursday, November 7, 2019, in Donnell House. He was born February 5, 1943, in Bloomfield, Pittsburgh, a son of Elizabeth “Betty” Nichols Coyle of McKees Rocks and the late James J. Coyle Mr. Coyle enjoyed spending time with friends and family, golfing, and riding his dirt bike. He owned a MAACO franchise and worked as a regional sales manager for Ingersoll Rand for 15 years.  During his retirement, he worked as a drivers’ examiner for PennDOT. A veteran of the Navy, Mr. Coyle, served aboard the submarine USS Cobbler as a Yeoman, third class.  He was awarded a good conduct medal and honorably discharged on February 4, 1964. On November 16, 1974, he married Barbara D. Riggle, who survives. Also surviving are three children, Shawn D. Coyle of Oakland, California, Shannon L. (Robert) McMaster of Claysville, and Shane E. Coyle (Melinda Preaux) of Charleroi; two sisters, Donna Moniger of Crafton and Valerie Steinbaugh of North Carolina; three grandchildren, Max, Katelyn and Emily McMaster; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7 p.m., the time of service, Wednesday, November 13th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.  Military rites will be accorded at the funeral home by American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post 175.  Memorial contributions may be made to Parkinson’s Foundation, 575 Lincoln Avenue, #101, Bellevue, PA 15202.
