James Ewing Beatty

James Ewing Beatty, 62, of Washington, died Sunday, December 27, 2020, in his home. He was born May 27, 1958, in Washington, a son of Patty Rhoades Beatty of Washington and the late Walter Beatty. Mr. Beatty graduated from Trinity High School and worked at Golden Triangle Construction for 30 years as a Teamsters Union truck driver. His hobbies included hunting, camping, riding his Harley and side by side, and spending time with friends and family. On October 21, 1978, he married Hope Boardley, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Ashley Beatty and Brandy Nevel-Beatty, both of Washington; a brother, Walt Beatty of Claysville, two sisters, Linda (Joe) Daniels and Charlotte Beatty (Frank Steffan), both of Washington; six grandchildren, Chase, Paisley, Malia, Marcos, Mya, and Mia; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a son, Bubba Beatty; a daughter, Christy Beatty; and a sister, Deb Wellman. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, all services are private. Arrangements are entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., Washington, PA.
