Jacqueline M. Carson, 92, of Washington, died Tuesday, January 10, 2023. She was a daughter of the late Perry M. Morrow and Grace G.H. Morrow. Mrs. Carson was a member of Avery United Methodist Church, Washington. She sang in its choir and loved music. Mrs. Carson was a honorary member of Cokeburg Presbyterian Church Ladies Aid Society and served as treasurer for 28 years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 50 years, a member of the Martha V. Paul Chapter No. 404 Order of the Eastern Star, Washington, and was past matron of the former Charleroi Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 122, Charleroi. She belonged to the "Neighborhood Sewing Club" and was president of the Pioneer Club of Bentleyville. She served on the Election Board of Somerset Township for many years. Mrs. Carson was employed by Timo Pharmacy and Fashion Shop of Bentleyville for 30 years. For 62 years she was married to Loyal N. Carson, who died October 16, 2011. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Kay Carson; and sisters, Catherine Van Voorhis, Ruth Gloss and Helen Roupe. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
