Inez Sue Moore, 82, of Washington, died on Sunday, October 22, 2017, in her home. She was born on May 28, 1935, in Washington, a daughter of the late Floyd and Olive Phillips Poland. Mrs. Moore was a homemaker, and had worked for PennDOT. Inez enjoyed yard sales, collecting baby-dolls, and antique clocks. On January 27, 1951, she married Alan “Jim” Moore, who went to be with the Lord on January 14, 1996, following forty-five years of marriage. She enjoyed the remaining years of her life in a loving relationship with Pete Roupe, with whom she shared a home with. Surviving, in addition to her longtime companion, Pete Roupe, are five children, Jim (Dot) Moore, of Houston, PA, Brenda (Harry) Phillips, of Valley Grove, WV, Cindy (Bob) McElwee, of Rockmart, GA, Lisa (Kevin) Miller, of TN, and Floyd (Denise) Moore, of Buffalo Township, Houston, PA; a brother, Rich Poland, of Washington; eleven grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren. She was loved very much by Pete’s children and grandchildren. Deceased are three brothers, Don, Bob, and Tom Poland. Friends will be received on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, from 2 to 4 p.m., and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Home, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, where services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 26, 2017, with Pastor Sue Petritis officiating. Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery.
