Ida R. Parker, 85, of Washington, passed away December 23, 2021, in her home. She was born January 5, 1936, in Claysville, a daughter of the late Russell M. Stillwagen and Sue Hilton Stillwagen. Ms. Parker attended Claysville High School and worked for fifteen years as a cook at Truck Stops of American, Dallas Pike, West Virginia. She was a member of Slovak Club and Moose Club, and formerly bowled on a league at the Alpine. Ms. Parker enjoyed puzzles, reading, watching movies, and crocheting. Surviving are a son Jorge Parker (Jeremy Montgomery) of Washington; three daughter, Debra (the late Chuck) Scott of Wheeling, West Virginia, Alberta “Bert” (Steve) Miller of Washington, and Teresa Heyman (Doc Jones) of Washington; grandchildren, Leslie (Cameron) Dean, Henry (Christa) Danhart; Shawn (Kimmi) Danhart; Josh (Amiee) Tickerhoof, Tera (Jermaine) Tickerhoof; Shannon Klages, Sandra Klages, Noel Klages, Anthony (Cara) Byers, and Brittani Miller; great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Madison, Austin, Darius, Mason, Carson, Dakota, Shawn, Mackenzie, Cameron, Mitchell, Deondre, Alera, J.J., Dougie, Alysa, Davon, Kaiden, Aziah, Zylas, Zayvin, Jimmy Jr., Braelyn, Larenzo, and Lennox; a great-great-grandchild, Cameron; and her former husband and father of her children, George Parker. Deceased are a son, Earl Leroy Klages, Jr.; a brother, George Stillwagen; and a granddaughter, Brandi Byers. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, December 30th. Burial will follow in Claysville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
