Hunter Gene Hickle

Hunter Gene Hickle, 20, of Washington, died unexpectedly, June 20, 2021, as the result of a car accident. He was born February 2, 2001, in Washington, the son of Timothy Gene Hickle, Jr. and Theresa Marie Byrd Hickle, of Washington. Hunter was a graduate of Trinity High School and was working as a package handler for FedEx. Hunter really enjoyed spending time outside especially fishing and hunting. To say fishing was his passion is an understatement, fishing truly was his life. Hunter grew up on the wrestling mat, for years he would spend hours upon hours perfecting those amazing takedowns. He was a member of the FFA and never cared about getting his hands dirty. Hunter will always be remembered for his infectious laugh and caring personality. He always had a way about him that really reached people in a deep and positive way. Hunter is survived by sister, Kelsey (Jordon MacFarland) Hickle of Washington; maternal grandmother, Ethel Rush; paternal grandparents, Timothy and Thelma Hickle Sr.; aunt and uncle Christy and Ted Gulich; cousin Mark Gulich; uncles Scott and Patrick Rush; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Randolph Rush and Howard Byrd. Family and friends will be received Wednesday, June 23, 2021, 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., the time of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301, with Pastor Les Hutchins officiating. Interment will follow in the Washington Cemetery.
