Homer C. Nixon, Jr.

Homer C. Nixon Jr., 72, of Washington, died December 16, 2022, in Autumn Grove Nursing Home, Harrisonville, PA. He was born November 30, 1950, the son of the late Homer C. Nixon, Sr., and Imogene Williams Nixon. Homer worked as a supervisor at US Steel for 40 years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, and playing the lottery. He was Protestant by faith. On October 10, 1970, Homer married Sandra Worsley, who survives. They celebrated 52 years of marriage. Homer is survived by his son Peter Nixon; daughters, Jill, and Robin Nixon; brothers, Richard, and Edward Nixon; sister, Carol Nixon; grandchildren, Jordan, Serena, and Antwon; and many nieces and nephews. At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation or services.
