Herman Richard Falascino, 96, of Washington, died December 20, 2023, in Southmont of Presbyterian Senior Care. He was born September 29, 1927, in Martirano, Italy, a son of Guiseppe Falascino and Palma Gigliotti Falascino. Mr. Falascino earned a master’s degree in guidance and counseling from West Virginia University. He worked as a guidance counselor for Trinity Area School District for 30 years. Mr. Falascino was a member of Immaculate Conception Church of St. James Parish and the Elks. He was an avid gardener, producing the best tomatoes in Washington, and enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends and family. On September 29, 1951, he married Antoinetta Bianchi, who survives. Also surviving are a son, H. Richard (Caren) Falascino; three daughters, Janice (Jim) Bias, Joyce (Edward) Garbe and Joni (Tom) Lawrence; six grandchildren, Pamela (Dan) Greene, Jennifer (Dan) Quirk, Jeffrey (Ali) Bias, Gregory (Kate Morgan) Lawrence, Joseph Falascino, and Ricky Falascino; five great-grandchildren, Abigail and Whitney Greene, Brady and Benjamin Quirk, and Logan Bias; and many nieces and nephews. Deceased are his siblings, John Falascino, Crestina Squieri, and Teodolinda Tiano. All services are private. Arrangements are entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd.
