Helen Marie Main, 79 of Washington, passed over peacefully, August 12, 2017 in her home, surrounded by a multitude of family. She was born November 2, 1937 in Washington, the daughter of the late Thomas and Cora Caldwell Moore. Helen was a homemaker and worked as a personal care assistant at the Washington County Health Center for 10 years. She enjoyed baking, cooking, helping people and spending time with family. On January 7, 1956, she married Howard B. Main who died August 12, 1998. Helen passed away 19 years to the day after her husband. Surviving are three sons, Howard E. (Cindy) Main of Washington, Delbert “Bink” (Tammy) Main of Washington, Curtis P. (Jane) Main of Washington; a daughter, Cora L. (Bill) Mitchell of Bentleyville; two brothers, Dempsey Moore of Ohio and Eddie (Nancy) Moore of Marianna; four sisters, Mabel Cross of Washington, Rose Faren of Ohio, Grace Kiskadden of Washington and Anna (Dave) Mull of Cecil; thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Deceased are three brothers, Thomas Moore, Edgar Moore and Harry Moore; three sisters, Nancy Burgess, Mary Medlan and Dorothy Scott. Friends will be received Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from 4 to 7 p.m. the time of service at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington. Burial is private.
