Helen V. Berry

Helen V. Berry, 88, of Washington, died January 30, 2023, in her home. She was born January 10, 1935, in Waynesburg, the daughter of the late Carl and Clarice Dillie Jones. A graduate of Clay Battelle High School, Blacksville, WV, she worked in food service and retired from St. Cloud Hospital, St. Cloud, Florida. Helen was a member of Abundant Life Baptist Church. She was very strong in her faith and a devoted reader. She is survived by two sons, Steven Berry, and Michael Berry; a sister, Mary E. “Mick” Kuhn; five grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Helen was preceded in death by her daughter, Glenda Tilman; six siblings, Earl, Walter, Charles “Chuck” Jones, Peggy Hoge and Carol Harms, Richard “Dick” Jones; and two grandchildren. At the request of the deceased all services are private.
