Heather Lynn Gerevics (Riggs)

Heather Lynn Gerevics (Riggs), 36, of Mays Landing, New Jersey, formerly of Washington and Belmont, Ohio, died September 17, 2022, as the result of a traffic accident. She was born April 4, 1986, in Waynesburg, the daughter of James Robert Riggs (Joyce) and the late Kathy Ann Fox Brewer. Heather attended Waynesburg High School. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping. Heather is survived by two sons, Jason Gerevics (fiancée Monica), and Desmond Gerevics; brothers, Scott Hoy (fiancée Abby), and Zachary George; nephews, Ryder Riggs, Jayse Chandler, and Dalton Hoy; and the father of her children, Mike Gerevics. Also surviving are a very special aunt and uncle, Candace and Gary Otte, along with several aunts and uncles. Preceding Heather in death were her mother; a brother, Charles E. Riggs III; maternal grandmother, Karen Sue Fox; and paternal grandparents, Charles Riggs, Jr., and Anna Ruth Miller. Family and friends will gather Friday, September 30, 2022, from 12 pm until 3 pm, followed by a service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
