Glenn "Butch" George Burnette

Glenn George “Butch” Burnette III, 60, of Washington, died on Wednesday, February 5, 2020, in Uniontown Hospital. He was born on January 2, 1960, a son of the late Glenn George Burnette, Jr., and Patricia “Patty” Burnette. A graduate of Washington High School, he went on to enlist in the United States Army, and was primarily stationed in Germany. Butch enjoyed working on cars, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.  A very helpful and giving person, Butch was a free spirit, who loved his children, grandchildren, animals, and guitars. Surviving are four children, Nicole J. Lycett, of Washington, Glenn G. Burnette IV, of Greensburg, Lisa Marie Burnette (Jeremy) Fullum, of Pittsburgh, and Robert James Burnette, of Missouri; four sisters, Susan (Roland) Burnette, Cindy (Roger) Johnson, Kimberly (Ray) Hutter, and Nadine (Frank) Winters, all of Washington; nine grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Deceased is a grandson. Services will be private.
