George Lee Simonelli

George Lee Simonelli, 70, of Washington, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024. He was born June 18, 1953, in Washington, a son of the late Victor Simonelli and Betty Loar Simonelli. Mr. Simonelli was employed as a supervisor by Trees Inc. On January 12, 1974, he married his wife, Nancy Lee Thomas Simonelli, who passed away February 4, 2015. Surviving are son George L. (Angie) Simonelli Jr.; daughters Jodi Lynn (Joe Husk) Rush, Lori Anne (Jason) Allen, Christie Sue (James) Casey and Tammie Lee (David) Liscieki; brothers William (Janie) Simonelli, Dean H. (Tammy) Simonelli and Gino (Janet) Simonelli; sister Diane Knox; grandchildren Kayla Reed, Richard (Shae) Hull, Audrey Rush, Allison Rush, Nicole (Dan) Pinchok, Cody (Kyra) Walters, Zachary Evon, Austin Cooper, Noah Nickerson, Brittany (Seth) Snyder, Hannah (Jacob) Elias, Nick Simonelli, Morgan Garrett, Joshua Garrett; great-grandchildren Adalynn, Dawson, Rosie, Kenzie, Evan, Jackson, Connor, Maddie, Taylor, Dean and Arya; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives; and his dog, Buddy. Deceased are daughter Jaimie Dawn Garrett, and brothers Victor Simonelli and Vaughn Simonelli. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2024, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 1, 2024. Interment will follow in Upper Buffalo Cemetery, Washington.
