George "Hicey" Robison

George "Hicey" Robison, 88, of Washington, died on April 26, 2022, in Premier Washington Health Care. He was born on May 14, 1933, in Castile, PA, a son of the late George Amos and Estella Viola Reeves Robison. A 1954 graduate of Trinity High School, George went on to earn a Business/Accounting degree in 1955 from Penn Commercial Business/Technical School. He attended Calvary Baptist Church. Mr. Robison retired in 1991, after working twenty-five years in the hardware department at Walmart. He had also worked at Krispy Kreme and Emery Air Freight, prior to working at Walmart. Hicey enjoyed working on cars, camping and fishing. On May 26, 1961, he married the love of his life, Doris "Ellen" Powell, who died on October 15, 2021. Surviving are two daughters, Cheryl (the late Glen) White, of Washington, and Mary Beth Lane, of Bethel Park; a sister, Doris Berry, of Washington; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and two nephews. Deceased are a brother, Raymond Robison; and two sisters, Georgia Robison, and Jessie Robison, who died in infancy. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 30, 2022, in Calvary Baptist Church, 1701 Ridgewood Dr., Washington, with Pastor Fred McCloskey officiating.
