Frank Charles Sabash, 78, of Washington, died January 11, 2024, in his home. He was born November 9, 1945, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Adam E. and Sue Knausick Sabash. A graduate of Bishop Canevin High School, he was part of the first graduating class in 1963. Mr. Sabash proudly served his country in the US Army. A veteran of the Vietnam era, he served in Germany and was Honorably discharged. Frank was a welder for twenty years working at Dravo Corporation and Westinghouse/Gupta. He was on a bowling league and enjoyed bowling at the Meadows, as well as riding his trail bicycle and driving. He was a member of St Hilary Church. On January 7, 1967, Frank married Toni Marie Capozzoli, who died August 3, 2016. He is survived by two sons, Michael (Donna) Sabash, and Paul (Carla) Sabash; grandchildren, Sydney (Jesse) Sabash Gainey, and Melissa Kendrick; great-grandchildren, Jacob, and Wyatt Gainey; step-grandchildren, Eric Miller, and Megan Steele; and step-great grandson, Mark Steele. A memorial mass is scheduled for Friday, February 9, 2024, at 10 am, in St Hilary Church, 320 Henderson Avenue, Washington, PA 15301.
