Frances Marion Davis, 81, of Houston, died February 15, 2022, in St. Clair Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born December 27, 1940, in Washington, the daughter of the late Ambrose and Ann Hurzon Kolycheck. Frances was a graduate of Trinity High School. She was very proud of her work as a private housekeeper in some local homes. She loved shopping, her annual trips to Myrtle Beach, and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandson. She loved to cook. Nobody ever left her home hungry, in fact they probably left with food to take home with them. She was famous for her potato salad and pizzelles. On December 12, 1964, Frances married Ray L. Davis, who survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Kimberly (Patrick) Johnston, of Washington; sister, Carol Reeves, of Washington; grandchildren, Cassandra Luisi and Parker Schultz; great-grandson, Caleb DuBois; and many nieces and nephews. Frances was preceded in death by a son, John Allen Davis, and brother, Michael Kolycheck. Family and friends will be received Sunday, February 20, 2022, from 2-4pm and 6-8 pm, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, the place of service Monday, February 21, 2022, at 10 am. Interment will be private.
