Fay B. Megyesy

Fay B. Megyesy, 74 of Washington, died Friday, October 11, 2019 at home. She was born September 11, 1945 in Washington, the daughter of the late Charles Blankensop and Lulu Poland Blankensop. Fay attended Penn Commercial for business adminstation. She enjoyed crocheting, crossword puzzles, word search puzzles, watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune on TV. She also loved spending time with family and friends. On January 15, 1966, she married Harry Megyesy who survives. Also surviving are a son, Harry Megyesy Jr. of Washington; two daughters, Cindy (Arthur) Bowens of Hampton, VA and Candy (Bryan Long) Megyesy of Claysville; a sister, Kay Blankinsop of Kittaning; nine grandchildren, Christina, Charles, Bubba, Robert, Margaret, Howard, Sierra, Emalee and Mason; five great grandchildren, Melina, Noel, Bella, Kynsleigh and Faith; and many nieces and nephews. All services were private and have been entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd.
