Evelyn J. Simpson, 95, of Eighty-Four, died on Thursday, February 8, 2018, in the Greenery, Canonsburg.She was born on August 18, 1922, in Eighty-Four, a daughter of the late John and Mary Lida Hackney Ullom.A homemaker, she was a member of Emmanuel Presbyterian Church.Evelyn enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, and canning.Her first husband, Milton E. Jordan, died in 1978, and her second husband, Robert W. Simpson, died in 2003.Surviving are a son, Earl (Linda) Ross, of Cape Coral, FL; three daughters, Mary Jane (Sam) Mazutis, of Houston, Hazel Rebecca (Jim) Heil, of Boiling Springs, SC, and Patricia Ann (the late Ralph) Crawford, of Eighty-Four; a stepson, Robert (Nancy) Simpson, of Washington; three stepdaughters, Caroline (Melvin) Shoup, of Washington, Letetia Stark, and Barbara Levia; ten grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.Deceased are a brother, John Ullom, Jr., and four sisters, Lillian Kilgore, Marie Howard, Gail Ullom, and Catherine Hull.Friends will be received on Sunday, February 11, 2018, from 5 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, PA, where additional visitation will be held on Monday, February 12, 2018, from 10 to 11 a.m., the time of services, with Pastor Dawn Sherwood officiating.Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery.
