Eva Jean Naylor

Eva “Jean” Miller Naylor, 78, of Washington, died September 18, 2023, in the Washington Hospital. She was born January 20, 1945, in Anadarko, OK, the daughter of James Earl and Dorothy Jean Epton Miller. Jean attended McGuffey High School and was a member of the West Alexander Christian Church. She retired from Bavarian Pretzel, at the Franklin Mall, where she was the assistant manager for 25 years. Jean was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Claysville American Legion. She enjoyed word search puzzles and going out to eat with family. On September 1, 1973, Jean married David W. Naylor, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Michael Naylor (Jen), David Ingram (Melissa), and James Howard Rawle (Irma); three daughters, Lori Naylor Stokes (Damon Lawing), Beverly Foringer (Dennis), Brenda Ingram (Tim Baker); a brother, Raymond Miller; sisters, Kay Ware, and Dorothy Margaria (Ed); grandchildren, Raymond Ingram, Brittany Murray, Cheyenne Rawle; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Karis, Raymond, and Remay Ingram; sister-in-law, Jackie Miller; and several step grandchildren, too many to mention. Jean was preceded in death by her brother James E. Miller. Please be kind, don’t hold grudges. You may not get to make it right; God does not promise tomorrow. Family and friends will be received Friday, September 22, 2023, 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301. A brief visitation on Saturday, September 23rd from 10-11 am will be followed by the service at 11 am, with Minister Bruce Graff officiating. Interment will be in West Alexander Cemetery.
