Eva Arlene Baumgardner

Eva Arlene Baumgardner, 89, of Washington, died on January 28, 2021, in Southmont of Presbyterian Senior Care. She was born on January 12, 1932, in Washington, a daughter of the late Herbert and Lily Daugherty. Mrs. Baumgardner had worked as a custodian in the Washington School District. Eva enjoyed playing bingo, doing puzzles and crocheting, but her greatest joy was having fun with her family. On December 30, 1950, she married George Joseph Baumgardner, who died on October 10, 2013. Surviving are a daughter, Linda (William) Grego, of Washington; two granddaughters, Alysa C. (Jason) Avolia and Carla R. (Eric) Burt; four great grandchildren, Julian and Aidan Avolia, and Brandon and Malia Burt; as well as several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a son, Robert Baumgardner; a brother, Wilbert Daugherty; and two sisters, Betty Lesnock and Helen Gizoni.
