Elmo George

Elmo George, 58, of West Alexander, died Sunday, February 25, 2024, in UPMC-Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born January 27, 1966, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Elmer and Mary George. A graduate of Trinity High School, Mr. George worked as a machinist at Hallmor Machine in Bethel Park and was a member of the International Association of Machinists Union Local 52. He enjoyed building models. Surviving are his wife, Paula Cobb George; three children, Coty Tarr (Ashlee), Kyle Tarr, and Olivia Anderson (Jordan); three step-children, George Locy, Matthew Kraushaar and Shauna Cobb (Tyler McConn); a sister, Doreen Lynch (Dennis); and several grandchildren. There will be no public visitation or service. Arrangements have been entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with final expenses.
