Edwin Wayne Robey, 70, of Washington, died June 1, 2022, in Washington Hospital. He was born July 10, 1951, in Salisbury, Maryland, a son of the late Dudley T. and Kathleen Brinsfield Robey. Mr. Robey was a 1969 graduate of Pottsville High School. He continued his education at Penn State Main Campus, graduating in 1973, and completing his education at Oklahoma City University School of Law, graduating in 1979. Edwin was an attorney for Washington County Legal Aid and was a respected attorney in good standing with the Bar Association. He will be missed by many. He loved riding his motorcycle and would even ride it to court. In 1974, Ed and partner Tom Dudash traveled 2,800, on a 450 Honda, to see Evel Knievel attempt to jump over the Snake River Canyon in Idaho. In 1970, he co-founded, and was president of B.A.D. until his death. He was also a member of the Keystone Club of Washington. On May 26, 1984, Edwin married Marilyn Marie Milliken, who died June 27, 2019. Surviving are two brothers, David Robey, and Joseph Schreffler; two sisters, Joann Olewiler (Steve), and Sandy Staller (Ken); and many nieces and nephews.
