Edward Carl Ullom, Sr., 76, of Washington, died September 5, 2021, in his home. He was born October 15, 1944, in Washington, a son of the late Raymond Ullom and Lois Bainer Ullom. A graduate of Washington High School, Mr. Ullom served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and was awarded a Good Conduct Medal and the Navy and Marine Corps Expeditionary Medal. He worked in steel manufacturing, retiring from Union Electric Steel Mill. Mr. Ullom was a member of American Legion 902, Moose Lodge, Pulaski Club, and Polish Club, and a lifetime member of VFW 927. He enjoyed hunting. Surviving are a son, Daniel (Bobbie) Ullom of Indian Mound, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Stacey Ullom and Audrey Ullom; a great-grandchild, Kai Gilmore; and a daughter-in-law, Bridgette Ullom. Deceased are a son, Edward C. Ullom, Jr.; a granddaughter, Danielle; and a great-granddaughter, Neriah. There will be no public viewing or service.
