Edward Stanley Uniejewski

Edward Stanley Uniejewski, 79, of Washington, died August 14, 2021, in Premier Washington Health Center. He was born April 30, 1942, in Washington, the son of Norma (Tony) Mancina and Chester (Jennie) Uniejewski. Edward previously worked at McGraw-Edison and Hankison as a fitter/welder. He attended St Hilary Church. Edward enjoyed golf, hunting, gardening, playing cards, and loved to dance. But mostly, he loved spending time with friends and family. On June 12, 1965, Edward married Marie Lucille Mazza. In addition to his wife, Edward is survived by son Edward (Darla) Uniejewski Jr.; daughter, Denise (Shawn) Kostyak; brothers, Raymond (Jean) Uniejewski, and Stanley “Stush” (Cindy) Uniejewski; sisters, Charlotte (Robert) Day, and Patty (Tom) Wolfe; grandchildren, Alexa Kostyak (Roger) Hull, and Joshua (fiancé Lexie Schlegel) Kostyak; and great-grandchildren, Reed and Ryder Hull. Friends and family will be received Thursday, August 19, 2021, 3:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301, where a blessing service will be held, Friday, August 20, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. with Father Michael Peck. Edward proudly served his country in the US Navy, during the Vietnam Conflict. Military honors will be accorded by the American Legion Post 175.
