EDWARD ROSS MINER, age 58, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on September 18, 2023, in Washington, Pennsylvania, after a courageous battle with heart complications. He was born February 26, 1965, in Columbia, Tennessee where he was raised. In 1979, Ed moved to North Olmsted, Ohio where he earned the rank of Eagle Scout, and graduated from North Olmsted High School in 1983. He then made his home in the Washington, Pennsylvania area. His Lord Jesus entered his heart March 18, 1991. He married Nancy Lewis in 1998. Besides his passion for the Lord and his son, John, he loved tinkering, and repairing just about anything mechanical and broken. He was devoted to his son, family, friends, and neighbors. Ed will truly be remembered and missed for his generous heart and warm, loving spirit. He was a selfless and non-judgmental soul. The grace with which he lived his life inspired those around him and will have a lasting impact on all who met and knew him. He is survived by his loving son, John Miner, 24, of Washington, Pennsylvania, his former spouse, Nancy Lewis of Washington, Pennsylvania, his father, Henry Miner of North Olmsted, Ohio, his sister Lynn Taylor (Art) of Wortham, Texas, and his brother Frank Miner (Penny) of Kerens, Texas. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Lou Miner. A special thank you to the amazing staff at UPMC Presbyterian, and Concordia Hospice of Washington Donnell House. At the request of the deceased, all services were private. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Washington, Pennsylvania.
