Edward Allen Horne

Edward Allen Horne, 81, of Washington, died December 9, 2023, in the Canonsburg Hospital. He was born July 1, 1942, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Charles Pratt and Jean Elizabeth Chillson Horne. Mr. Horne was a member of the North Buffalo Presbyterian Church for 22 years, and a member of GWRRA motorcycle club, and Wood Carvers of Wheeling, WV. He loved to travel, ride his motorcycle, sing in the choir, and go to dinner with his supper club. He especially loved meeting with family and friends. Ed was the loving husband of Carol Ann Locke Horne, who survives. Also surviving are son, Richard Horne (Donna); a daughter-in-law, Diane Horne; a sister, Jeanne Elizabeth Kleiner (Dale); grandchildren, Ashley Horne, Chaz Horne, Brittany Horne, and Nicole Horne; and several nephews and nieces. Preceding Ed in death was a son, Edward Douglas Horne, and a brother, Charles Edward Horne. Family and friends will be received Thursday, December 14, 2023, 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where the service will be held Friday, December 15th at 10 am. Interment will follow in the North Buffalo Cemetery followed by a luncheon in North Buffalo Presbyterian Church. Memorial donations may be made to North Buffalo Presbyterian Church or Hillman Cancer Center in Pittsburgh.
