Edward P. Hoban

Edward P. Hoban, 60, of Washington, died Tuesday, July 31, 2018, in his home. He was born November 27, 1957, in Washington, a son of the late Paul F. and Wilda M. Davis Hoban. Mr. Hoban worked as a mechanic at local garages, including Pryor’s.  He loved working on cars. He enjoyed spending time with his friends at Rinky Dinks.  They were like family to him. Surviving are his siblings, Hazel G. Helmick of Washington, Brenda L. Phillips of Waynesburg, Mary “Peggy” (Homer) Phillips of Waynesburg, Pauline F. Christensen of Chicago, Illinois, and James B. Hoban of Washington; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation or service.  Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
