Edna Hilderbrand, 96, of Washington, died on November 20, 2023, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. She was born on August 12, 1927, in Sharon, a daughter of the late Wilbert A. and Georgia Scott Amon. A graduate of Canonsburg High School, Edna was a member of WPCA, Washington Presbyterian Church of America. Mrs. Hilderbrand retired in 1993 from the Redevelopment Authority of Washington, after 28 years of dedicated service. Edna was devoted to her church and adored her dogs, but most of all, she loved her family. On August 28, 1947, she married Conrad A. Hilderbrand, who died in May, 1963. Surviving are two sons, Greg “Bubby” (Pam) Hilderbrand, of Washington and Kurtis (Cynthia) Hilderbrand, of Prosperity; a granddaughter, Betsy (the late Sam) Clark; four great grandchildren, Conrad, Caitlin, Carson and Coby; and three great-great grandchildren, Isabella, Ember and Autumn. Deceased are a son, Conrad A. Hilderbrand, Jr.; a grandson, Erik A. Hilderbrand; a great grandson, Caden F. Hilderbrand; and her siblings. All services were private.
