Earl Eugene Anderson, 94, of Washington, died Sunday, December 2, 2018, in Washington Hospital. He was born February 24, 1924, in Washington, a son of Harry and Ethel Carr Anderson. Mr. Anderson worked as a glazier in the glass industry. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. During World War II, Mr. Anderson served in the Army in the Western Pacific. He earned the Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon with one bronze battle star, Good Conduct Medal, and World War II Victory Medal. Mr. Anderson is survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He will be missed by his family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 8th, in the Chapel at Washington Cemetery, 498 Park Avenue, Washington, with Rev. Fred McCloskey officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 1701 Ridgewood Drive, Washington, PA 15301. Military rites will be accorded graveside by American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post 175.
