Dorothy Marie Camp, 93, of Washington, died Thursday, March 18, 2021, in her home. She was born March 10, 1928, in Washington, the daughter of the late John and Ruby Steele. Dorothy worked at Washington Hospital as a Nurse’s Aide. She loved crafting, sewing, and quilting. Dorothy was a wonderful cook and the best mom ever. She cared about everyone she met. On November 9, 1946, Dorothy married Clarence Paul Burt, who died February 6, 1973. On December 15, 1982 she married Oscar “Pete” Lee Camp, who died January 22, 2013. Surviving are a son, Gregory (Janice) Lee Burt, of Preston MD; daughters, Dawn Victoria Groff, of Twinsburg, OH, Debra Eileen Hangge (Michael Arthur) of Elsworth, ME, and Michele (Mark) Marie Leppert, of Washington; grandchildren, Justin, Jennifer, Charity, Michael Jr., Isaiah, Derek, and Nathan; great-grandchildren, Alice, Jacob, Luke, Caroline, Alexis, Piper; and several nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by a son, John Paul Burt; brothers Jack, Pete, Ed, Andy Steele; sisters, Cynthia Steele, Wanda Ondreako, Doris Bedillion; and grandson Erik C. Leppert.
