Donna E. Doncals, 80, of Washington, died Monday, October 30, 2017 at home. She was born September 8, 1937 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Elliott Byers and Catherine Toner. Donna was a graduate of St. George High School in Pittsburgh’s Allentown neighborhood and Pinkerton Business College in Pittsburgh. She worked as an airline flight attendant with American Airlines in her earlier years. Donna was a member of St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church and a member of the American Airlines KIWI Club. She was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed taking care of her children, grandchildren and extended family. She liked decorating and creating art through painting. She was also a former Girl Scout Leader. On February 24, 1962, she married Richard Allen Doncals Sr., who died January 27, 2009. Surviving are two sons, Richard A. (Kimberly) Doncals Jr. of Washington and Damon (Erin) Doncals of Washington; two daughters, Desiree E. (Martin Jakubow) Doncals M.D. of Canton, OH and Deborah E. Doncals of Canonsburg; a sister, Bridget E. Patrick of Pittsburgh; six grandchildren, Alexandra, Colette, Sarah Beth, Stephanie, Nicholas, and Samantha and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church in Washington. Burial will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. All attending should meet at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington.
