Donna Mae Bryner, 90, of Houston, died Wednesday, January 27, 2021, in The Washington Hospital. She was born July 14, 1930, in Washington, a daughter of Timothy E. and Victoria Breese Bennett. Mrs. Bryner worked at Tygart Valley Glass and was a waitress at Julia’s and Golden Lion. A member of North Buffalo Presbyterian Church, she volunteered at the Washington City Mission and for many years at the Salvation Army. Mrs. Bryner loved walking and spending time with her family and enjoyed the time spent at the Washington Senior Citizens Center. On February 1, 1951, she married Harry Lee Bryner, who died July 22, 2000. Surviving are a son, Kevin (Cathy) Bryner of Houston; two daughters, Victoria (Bill) Bryner of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Connie (Mark) Bryner of Colliers, West Virginia; six grandchildren, Joseph (Kristen) Simonelli III, Chad (Nicki) Simonelli, Cecil Rager, Jr., Brian (Melanie) Rager, Nathan Bryner, and Amanda (Robert) Morgan; six great-grandchildren, Roman, Kyle, Zach (Kelly), Gaige, Tyler, and Madison; two great-great grandchildren, Kalvin and Kit; and many nieces and nephews. Deceased are a brother, William Bennett, and five sisters, Evelyn McKahn, Louella Jones, Nellie Watson, Ruth Glover, and Jennie Phillips. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, all services are private.
