Donald "Rose" Allen Wright

Donald Allen “Rose” Wright, 57, of Meadow Lands, passed away Monday, September 23, 2024, in Washington Hospital. He was born April 9, 1967, in Carpentersville, Illinois, a son of Dale Wright, who survives, and the late Darlene Main. Donald was a member of Calvary Temple Church in Washington. He loved being outdoors as much as possible. Donald lost his battle with a lengthy illness. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Surviving, in addition to his father, are a brother, Dale Kenny (Sharon) Wright; a sister, Sherry (Cody) Drabeck; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased, in addition to his mother, are a brother, Gary Kelley, and a sister, Bonnie Johnston. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, September 29, 2024, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, September 30, 2024, with Pastor John Miller officiating. Interment will follow in West Finley Cemetery.
