Donald Frank Presto, 86, of Washington, passed peacefully in his home December 31, 2021, with his family by his side. He was born February 6, 1935, a son of Nick and Anne Presto. Mr. Presto was a 1954 graduate of Washington High School. An entrepreneur, Don owned and operated “Potatoes & All.” He made homemade, fine Italian food, which included all-time customer favorites, pasta fagioli and meatloaf. Customers came from all over for his fresh-cut fries. He would travel to the strip district every Sunday night for the “perfect” potatoes. Don’s favorite pastimes included boating, bowling, and playing cards. On February 20, 1954, he married the love of his life, Jennie Tallerico. They shared 67 wonderful years of marriage. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his daughter, Grace Presto (Mike Villers) of Washington, and many special nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Vincent, twin brother Ronald, and Francis. He was the last of his immediate family. Family and friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., the time of service, Friday, January 7th. Private burial will be held in Washington Cemetery.
