Donald Lee Kosek, 59, of Washington, died Saturday, March 30, 2024, in his home. He was born January 23, 1965, in Washington, a son of Helen Bunnell Kosek of Washington and the late Danny Kosek. A 1983 graduate of Trinity High School, Mr. Kosek worked as a landscaper. He loved cutting grass, the Pittsburgh Steelers, all games on the Xbox 360, and casino games on his phone. A man with a good sense of humor, he teased everyone, which earned him the nickname “Quack.” On July 6, 1990, he married Cindy Bahus, who survives. Surviving, in addition to his wife and mother, are a daughter, Kristy Linder (Chris); son, Donald Kosek, Jr.; stepson, Charles Stanavich; brothers, Rick Kosek and James Kosek; sister, Kimberly Byers (Shep); two grandchildren, Maria Carrozza and Christopher “Bubba” Baker. Deceased is a brother, Danny Kosek, Jr. There will be no public viewing or service. Burial in Washington Cemetery will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., Washington.
