Dolores June Binder Loar, 92, of Washington, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2024. She was born November 25, 1931, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late Anthony Binder and Hallie Myers Binder. Dolores was employed as baker for Washington and Jefferson College and as a cook for Trinity School District. She was a homemaker and avid sewer. She enjoyed doing crafts, and attended craft shows for over 23 years. Dolores was a member of the American Legion Post 175 Ladies Auxiliary. On June 4, 1951, she married Earl James Loar Jr., who passed away on August 20, 2016. Surviving are sons James (Patricia) Loar and Robert Loar Sr.; grandchildren Elizabeth Loar and Robert (Michelle) Loar Jr.; great-grandchildren Tyler and Izzy Loar; and her beloved dog, Silver. Deceased are three siblings, Paul Binder, Kenny Binder and Jean Orbin. All visitation and services will be private.
