Dennis Pierre Preteroti

Dennis Preteroti, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on November 8, 2023, at 77. He was born on September 11, 1946, in Washington County, a son of the late Frank and Germaine Buquet Preteroti, and he spent his entire life surrounded by the love of his family and friends. Dennis leaves behind a legacy of faith, family, and cherished memories. For 54 years, Dennis was the loving husband of Noreen Preteroti, and together, they shared a bond that was a true inspiration to all who knew them. He was a devoted father to his children Dan Preteroti (wife Janet), Renee Preteroti (husband Matt), and Gregg Preteroti (wife Candy). Dennis was also grandfather to Anessa Preteroti, Nick Preteroti, Stone Preteroti, Liam Miller, and Locklyn Miller. Dennis was also a doting father to his furbaby, Willow (Willowbeast). Dennis grew up in Washington County and attended Canon McMillan High School. He furthered his education at Penn Commercial Technical School, earning a degree in HVAC and Refrigeration. Dennis dedicated 36 years of his life to Hankison Corporation, where he worked diligently until his well-deserved retirement. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Dennis had a contagious passion for life. He was a Pulaski Club, Arms Club and Alpine Club member. He loved muscle cars and enjoyed spending his free time indulging in activities he loved, such as golfing, bowling, listening to music, singing karaoke, and attending Bible study. His zest for life and adventurous spirit endeared him to many, and he will be remembered for his vibrant personality and warm heart.Services will be private.He will be laid to rest in a grave on a hillside overlooking his cherished family home. Dennis will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Central Assembly of God, 155 McGovern Rd, Houston, PA 15342 in Dennis's name to continue his legacy of generosity and compassion. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love of his family, in the eternal embrace of our Lord. Arrangements are entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington.
