Debra "Deb" Hodinko

Debra “Deb” Hodinko, a beloved former Head Start teacher, passed away on May 29, 2024, at the age of 58. She was born on March 28, 1966, in West Virginia, and had been residing in Washington, Pennsylvania. Deb, known for her fun-loving spirit and kind-hearted nature, touched the lives of many. Her career as a Head Start teacher allowed her to make a significant impact on the children she taught, nurturing and guiding them with her care and compassion. Deb was an avid baseball fan and loved the Pittsburgh Pirates. She always enjoyed watching or attending games. She leaves behind her loving son, Robert “Bo” Hodinko and his wife Brittni Hodinko, as well as her daughter, Katie Hodinko. Deb was also survived by her brother and his wife, Doug and Melissa Hodinko; and her beautiful niece, Hayden Hodinko; and a nephew, Sam Hodinko. She will be remembered as a true light in the lives of those who knew her. She brought joy and warmth to every room she entered, and her kindness was infectious. Her memory will forever be cherished by her family, friends, and the countless students whose lives she influenced. May she rest in peace. Visitation will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2024, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
