Debra “Debbie” L. Burnfield, 64 of Cape Coral, FL, formerly of Washington, died Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral, FL. She was born January 8, 1955, in Washington, the daughter of Paul W. (Rose) Kosey, Sr. and the late Mary Ann Iskey Kosey. Debbie graduated in 1972 from Washington High School and also graduated from the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy. She loved helping and rescuing animals, especially dogs and was active in the Cape Coral K-9. She was involved in the 84 Baseball and 10 Mile Valley Association. On June 23, 1979, she married Rick L. Burnfield, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, William “Ron” (Jill) Todd and Derrick (Jamie) Burnfield; a brother, Paul Kosey Jr.; two grandchildren, Brooke and Brycen Burnfield; uncles, James Iskey and Chuck (Barb) Kosey; an aunt, Trudy Kosey. Deceased are a son, Nathan Michael Burnfield and an uncle, Ron Kosey. Friends will be received Monday, March 18, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Burial is private.
