Deborah Suzanne Burgess Woods

Deborah Suzanne Burgess Woods, 71, of Washington, died August 6, 2022, in the home of her daughter. She was born April 14, 1951, in Washington, the daughter of the late Eugene and Joyce Webster Burgess. Deborah graduated from Chartiers-Houston High School and worked as a Home Health Aide. She enjoyed thrift shopping, and riding her scooter to Shop ‘N Save, where the employees nicknamed her “Flash”. Her greatest joy came from spending time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren. Deborah is survived by a son, Joshua Fedd; daughters, Rosylen Fedd, and Christine (Thomas) Ford; brother Christopher (Krisanne) Burgess; sister, Elizabeth (Dickie) Jenkins; grandchildren, Dajuan, Shemar, Devlin, Johnathan, Essence, Xavier, Ashley, and Elijah; a special nephew, Shad; a host of additional nieces and nephews; friends and family; and a special friend Melvin Terrel. She was preceded in death by her brothers, James Burgess, and Skippy Burgess. Family and friends will gather Sunday, August 14, 2022, 12-2 pm, and 4-5pm, the time of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Pastor Tom Bellhy officiating.
