Deborah Lee Steggles-Stansbury

Deborah Lee Steggles-Stansbury, 57, of Washington, died on Thursday, December 7, 2017. She was born on May 10, 1960, in Washington, a daughter of John H., and Priscilla L. “Penny” Steggles, of Washington. Deborah was Catholic by faith. A graduate of Trinity High School, she graduated from Pittsburgh Nursing School as a registered nurse, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  Following graduation, she moved to Glendale, AZ, and worked at Arizona State Hospital for ten years.  In 1990, Debbie moved to Napa, CA, working as a forensic nurse, at Napa State Hospital, until she moved home to Washington, in 2010, after becoming disabled. Deborah loved all animals, especially her dog, Annie.  She really loved the years she spent in California, and she enjoyed travelling. Her husband, Leslie Stansbury is deceased. Surviving, in addition to her parents, are a brother, John C. Steggles, of Washington, as well as several aunts and uncles. Friends will be received on Monday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., on Monday, December 11, 2017, in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington where services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 12, 2017. Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery.
