David Robert Winters, 84, of Washington, died on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, in the Donnell House. He was born on November 9, 1935, in Sewickley, a son of the late Josiah and Dorothy James Winters. Mr. Winters was a graduate of Sewickley High School. David worked for thirty years as a Lineman for Bell Telephone. He enjoyed woodworking, going to camp and working in the yard. On April 9, 1955, he married Margaret “Peg” Brennan, who survives. Surviving are sons Edward (Pam) Winters, Douglas (Rhonda) Winters, David Winters of Washington, Robert (Shirley) Winters of Carmichaels and Daniel (Irene) Winters of Washington. Also surviving are a brother Richard (Shannon) Winters of Louisville, KY and eight grandchildren: Michael, Tyler, Jamie, Shannon, Isabella, Michelle, Jake and Justin along with two great-grandchildren Madeline and Winnie and a special cousin Bob Smith.
