David W. Ricker, 75, of Dallas, TX, died March 28, 2022, in Faith Presbyterian Hospice, Dallas, Texas, due to complications from a head injury. He entered Heaven's gates free from pain and suffering. He was born on September 8, 1946, in Washington D.C., the son of the late Charles Schofield and Eva Hobbs Ricker. After high school, David attended Montgomery Junior College and Washington Bible College. He worked for the family business, Ricker Printing Company, and retired from Xerox after 30 years as a customer service engineer. David enjoyed collecting coins, camping, taking walks and listening to gospel quartets. He taught Christian Service Brigade and oversaw Homeless Ministry for ten years in Dallas. On July 27, 1968, David married Nancy K. Mounts, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Mark Ricker (Sherrie), of Atlanta, GA, and Michael Ricker, of Dallas TX; a sister, Dorothy Hatch, of FL; and grandchildren, Michelle and Bradley. Preceding David in death were siblings, Ann Smithson, Joy Wheeler, and Charles Ricker. All services are private. I’m sending a special “Texas howdy" to all my family, friends, and college buddies. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Our Calling, a Homeless Service, 1702 S. Cesar Chavez Blvd, Dallas, TX 75215 https://ourcalling.harnessapp.com/wv2/donate?checkout=3736
