David Wayne Mcneel

David Wayne McNeel, 62, of Washington, passed away February 13, 2022. He was born September 12, 1959, in Washington, the son of the late Herman Franklin and Helen Irwin McNeel. David graduated from Trinity High School and was a self-employed Professional house painter. Mr. McNeel was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he also loved to draw and paint. On September 27, 1991, David married Charlene Neely McNeel, who survives. Also surviving is his son David (Brittany) McNeel; daughters, Cassie (Thomas) Hayes, and Nikita (Josh) Lucas; sister, Linda McNeel Wilson; grandchildren, Karis, Remington, Irelynd, Brayden, Skyler, Lydia, Victor, and Rose; and twelve nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his brother Daniel McNeel, and sister Barbara McNeel. Family and friends will be received Saturday, February 19, 2022, from 12 pm until 3 pm, the time of service, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301. The family requests that all guests wear a mask during visitation and service. Military honors will be accorded by American Legion Post #175 and the Army.
