David Lee Mcconnell

David Lee McConnell, 79, of Marianna, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024, in his home. He was born February 12, 1945, in Washington, a son of the late Gaylord McConnell and Mabel Hewitt. David was a graduate of Trinity High School. He was employed at Western Center for 31 years, until its closing. He had previously worked at Howard Johnson as a dishwasher. He was a certified nurse’s aide at Presbyterian Senior Care and Humbert Lane, before he retired in 2008. David loved his farm, dancing and animals. He leaves behind his partner of over 30 years, John Bedillion; three brothers, Russell McConnell of Washington, James (Christine) McConnell of Ohio and Charles (Patty) McConnell of Washington; three children, John McConnell of Uniontown, Deanna (Louis) Onopiuk of Marianna and Aaron McConnell of Canonsburg; his grandchildren, Ashley (Seth) Collins, John (Shelby) McConnell, Autumn (Bennie) Onopiuk Mine, Nicholas McConnell, Michael McConnell and Kenzie McConnell; and several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
