David Cooke Gault, 81, of Washington, died unexpectedly, Friday, June 22, 2018, in St. Clair Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born November 10, 1936, in Washington, a son of the late Virginia Miller Gault. A graduate of Washington High School, Mr. Gault worked as the district security manager for Kmart for many years. He enjoyed working outdoors in his yard. Mr. Gault was a member of Trinity Church, Washington. Surviving is his wife of 62 years, Charlotte A. McBride Gault, whom he married on June 22, 1956. Also surviving are two sons, David M. Gault of Bridgeville and Mark S. Gault of Washington; a daughter, Cheryle A. (Michael) Miller of Claysville; four grandchildren, Zachary A. (Linsi) Gault, Christopher M. (Courtnee) Gault, Lindsey J. Gault and Haley M. Gault; and two great-grandchildren, Eli J. Gault and Olivia R. Gault. Deceased is a grandchild, Nicholas J. Gault, who died at birth. Friends will be received from 10 till 11 a.m., the time of a Memorial Service, Friday, June 29th, in Trinity Church, 550 S. Main Street, Washington, with Rev. Karen Stevenson officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., Washington.
