David Paul Chropek, 59, of Canton Township, departed this world to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, May 6, 2024, following a brief illness at St. Clair Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The first child of the late David L. Chropek and Jacqueline Frank Chropek, David was born June 20, 1964, in Washington, PA. He was a 1982 graduate of Trinity High School. After completing college, David was a committed technician at St. Clair Hospital for two decades—a heartfelt thank you to all co-workers for their prayers and support. No words can express our deep gratitude for your love for our brother. David, an extraordinary man, brother, and friend, had the heart of a lion and soared like an eagle. His dedication to the study of the word of God was nothing short of exceptional. As a member of R.B. Thieme, Jr., Bible Ministries for over 45 years, the doctrine taught was metabolized and applied to his daily life and all he enjoyed. David was an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed equestrian training, hunting, and fishing—particularly the fishing trips spent with his very dear friend Michael Namie, who, by all rights, acted like a brother. Surviving are two brothers, Paul (beloved sister-in-law Tracy) and Aric Chropek, as well as aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins. Memorial service will be held privately with family.
