Darrell Lynn Washington

Darrell Lynn Washington, 62 of Washington, died Sunday, June 3, 2018 at the Brighton Wellness and Rehabilitation Center in Beaver. He was born April 16, 1956, the son of Myrtle Jane Washington Galloway. Mr. Washington worked as a laborer in the industrial field many years ago before becoming disabled. He enjoyed being with his family and friends, music and sports. Surviving are two sons, Dontae Patterson of Washington and Milan Lee of Los Angeles, CA; three grandchildren, Allante McGant, Cole Patterson and Cassie Patterson; six brothers, Rodney Washington of Milwaukee, WI, Stanley (Thelma) Washington of Las Vegas, NV, Gary Washington of Houston, TX, Michael Galloway of Wheeling, WV, Ronald Galloway of San Diego, CA,; four sisters, Sharon (Richard Burkett) Washington of Akron, OH, Millicent “Mitzi” Washington of Washington, Jennifer Carter of Buffalo, NY, Tracey Galloway of Virginia; an aunt, Iva June Beatty of Washington; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Deceased are his step father, Perry R. Galloway Sr.; a brother, Perry Galloway. Friends will be received Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. the time of service with Rev. Richard White of Friendship Baptist Church officiating.
