Cris Laraine Hamilton

Cris Laraine Hamilton, 71, of Houston, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024. She was born May 9, 1952, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late Donald G. and Mary Jane McNary Hamilton. Ms. Hamilton attended Trinity High School. She received a bachelor’s degree from Miami University of Ohio, and later earned a master’s degree in computer science. She retired from Carmichaels School District as a computer science teacher. Ms. Hamilton was an active member of Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church, where she was an enthusiastic participant in the Bell Choir. She was an avid bird photographer. She loved photography, especially taking pictures of animals, and enjoyed traveling. Surviving are two brothers, Donald R. Hamilton (Debra) and Roger A. Hamilton (Candy), and three nieces and nephews, Benjamin S. Hamilton, Bradley A. Hamilton (Robin) and Eustacia Hamilton. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301. Memorial contributions may be made to Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 11 a.m., in Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church, 112 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, PA 15317.
